Educational Opportunities

The Malta Foundation Programme provides a host of educational opportunities which may be accessed by the menu on the left hand side.

Besides these, trainees also benefit from:

  1. Weekly lectures: the academic programme spans Foundation Year 1 and Foundation Year 2. (example programmes for FY1 and FY2)
  2. Immediate Life Support (ILS) training in Foundation Year 1
  3. Advanced Life Support (ALS) training day in Foundation Year 2

  7. Participation in local journal clubs
  8. Regular conferences which are also made available online
  9. Regular Video-conferencing sessions organized by the Post-graduate Medical Training Centre with UK academic institution
