Fraud alert

It has been brought to the notice of the Malta Foundation School that malicious third parties have used the good name of the Malta Foundation School to disseminate fraudulent letters offering courses by the School at Mater Dei Hospital against payment.

The communication in question has not been sourced by either the Malta Foundation School or by Mater Dei Hospital, both of which completely disassociate themselves, for all intents and purposes of the law, from its malicious content. Recipients of the communication or letter should not take any further cognizance of the proposal and refrain from advancing any payments requested therein.

In view of the fact that this has not been an isolated phishing case, a fraud alert has also been posted here . The necessary complaints have been lodged with the Police so that the matter is urgently looked into.
