Call for applications for the position of Foundation Doctor starting July 2021

The Call for applications for the position of Foundation Doctor within the Malta Foundation programme which is run by the Foundation School Malta (FSM), starting July 2021, is expected to be out in late September-early October 2020.

Applicants from Medical Schools other than the Malta Medical School will be asked to produce a Letter of Intent by the Medical Council of Malta (MCM) certifying that the course leading to the Diploma in Medicine and Surgery from their Medical School is recognised for eligibility of provisional registration by the Council. This Letter will need to be attached to the application by closing date of the application process. Letters received after closing date of the Call for applications may not be accepted by the Selection Board .

Applicants are advised to start this process well ahead of time and write to the Medical Council of Malta (email: mcmapplications@fpmalta.com) asking for the documents required (Letter of intent) as soon as possible and not later than the 15th July 2020 (15.00 hours CET) , so that they may ensure a timely reply from the MCM, and thus be in time for the applications.
